I also own Mr. Rodgers' (ha!) Thanksgiving 101 book and love it, too. I would highly recommend that you buy both of these cookbooks right now.
I have to say, though, that while I did like the rolls and so did everyone else, they're still not quite the same as regular yeast dough. Something about that overnight rise in the fridge changes the texture. But . . . I can't very well get up at 3:00 AM, now, can I? So I guess I'll let them be. I would give a slight edge to Rick Rodgers' dough. I think I'll give it a try with the cinnamon roll recipe at some point. If you have some type of special-occasion breakfast coming up I would heartily recommend either of these.
